Back Pain Recovery Time Misperception?
Is back pain recovery time plagued by misperception and inadequate classifcation? That was one of the topics raised at the 7th EFIC Congress -- Pain in Europe VII in Hamburg. The prognosis for unspecific back pain, already an epidemic in industrialised countries, has been worse than commonly recognized, according to experts at the Congress. The pain, which cannot be attributed to any specific disease, requires increased research and rehabilitation efforts if treatment options are to be increased and improved.
